Training Together

Workforce development is a core feature of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safeguarding Children Partnerships. We develop responsive and customised multi-agency training opportunities, including webinars and eLearning, that are based on local and national themes from local child safeguarding practice reviews, audits, national legislation, research and findings.

Our fully funded training provides a unique opportunity for you to come together with other practitioners, both virtually and face-to-face, to develop knowledge and skills on specific safeguarding themes. Training together allows delegates to gain a greater understanding of each other’s roles and responsibilities to ensure collaborative working that safeguards children effectively.

With a huge range of different safeguarding themes, we are extremely proud of our learning and development offers and urge you to explore just some of the training we have coming up, including, but not limited to, learning on child sexual abuse, disguised compliance, harmful practices, child protection conferences, child exploitation, safeguarding infants and safeguarding adolescents.
