‘Briefings – Learnings and Themes’ face-to-face workshop events have returned! As with HSCP’s current virtual offer, these events are an ideal complement to single agency safeguarding training for practitioners, managers and volunteers working with children within the county.
The three scheduled in-person events will be delivered by Partnership Managers and aim to provide professionals with the opportunity to learn about current HSCP initiatives, explore key HSCP toolkits/resources and understand findings from recent local reviews to inform good practice and promote the welfare of children.
HSCP would like to encourage professionals from across the partnership and a from a variety of different organisations to attend to ensure that the Briefings become an ideal opportunity to meet partners, discuss important issues and gain vital insight into how each agency works to safeguard children. They will provide safeguarding colleagues with the opportunity to learn from each other and with each other; ensuring that professionals continue to work together and share information within the safeguarding process to secure positive outcomes for children and families.
