Bookings are now open for the HSCP and IOWSCP Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) Conference on 18 June 2024.
The full-day conference will focus on the role of DSLs in supporting school engagement, prioritising a “support first” mindset, and understanding the holistic context of a child’s lived experience. Topics include young carers, child-on-child abuse, mental health support and statutory guidance updates. Attendees will also gain insights from recent audits and case reviews and explore new tools/resources designed to support professionals working in schools in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
This virtual conference will fulfil refresher training requirements and is open to all DSLs in early years settings, schools, and colleges in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
