New HSCP Training Brochure available now

Hampshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSCP) is delighted to announce the release of the HSCP Training Brochure 2024-25, which showcases all the courses available on the HSCP Virtual Multi-Agency Learning Platform for the coming year.

This comprehensive digital brochure provides details of free multi-agency safeguarding training from April 2024 to March 2025, and is available to all professionals working with children and families in the Hampshire local authority area. It includes an extensive range of learning options, including virtual courses, in-person courses, webinars, workshops, and eLearning materials.  These training resources aim to strengthen the knowledge and skills of practitioners, equipping them with practical tools to ensure the safety of Hampshire’s children in their day-to-day practice.

The 2024-25 training offer maintains its focus on core safeguarding themes such as neglect, child sexual abuse, domestic abuse and the trauma informed journey with the addition of several new training courses designed to address emerging challenges, including:

  • An Introduction to Professional Curiosity and Disguised Compliance
  • Understanding Cumulative Harm and Normalising Neglect
  • An Introduction to Supporting Families in the Armed Forces
  • An Introduction to the Risks Associated with Gaming and Gambling in Under 18s
  • The Importance of Community Information Sharing (CPI) Forms
  • An Introduction to the Serious Violence Duty
