On Day 4 of Safeguarding Children Week, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safeguarding Children Partnerships are delighted to release a new toolkit on safeguarding infants under the age of one.

The new Safeguarding Infants Toolkit supports professionals working with new and expectant parents in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. It provides information on four programmes of work that are in place to support our most vulnerable group of children:

Developed by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safeguarding Children Partnerships, Safeguarding Children Week brings together agencies and organisations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to raise awareness among partners, professionals and community and voluntary leaders about the importance of safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.
Each day of Safeguarding Children Week we will be promoting a different theme to professionals working with children and families in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
