The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safeguarding Children Partnerships and Children’s Trust Thresholds Chart has been revised and updated.
The purpose of this document is to support practitioners working with children in all agencies and organisations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to access the right help for children, young people and their families at the right time.
The guidance sets out which agencies and what levels of intervention might be required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, including when statutory intervention may be needed.
The document is an aid to decision making and professional judgement is always important when considering children and their individual circumstances.
An update has also been made to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Guide to Recognising Neglect in Children.
