9 March 2022 — In association with Relate, the Hampshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSCP) are pleased to announce its latest virtual webinar, Advance Development for Professionals on Reducing Parental Conflict.
Participants will learn how to identify and understand the detrimental impact exposure to a level of parental conflict can have on a child or children living in the family. They will determine how to respond, protect children and support parents.
The full-day workshop (from 10am to 4pm) will enhance practitioners’ skills, knowledge and confidence in developing professional practice when managing parental conflict. Practitioners will develop confidence in the implementation of a framework and models to support them in providing a proportionate response when there is conflict between parents.
This course, run and developed by Relate, provides professionals with a greater depth of knowledge and can be used to gain further insight following attendance at the 1.5 hour ‘Increased Awareness Webinar on Reducing Parental Conflict’.
This interactive workshop is recommended for multi-agency professionals who work with families, such as schools, community health workers, substance misuse, adult mental health, domestic abuse and family support services as well as, intensive support workers and social workers.
