A new Child Sexual Abuse Strategy and associated online Toolkit to support professionals working with young people and their families will be launched on 28 March 2023 by Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton (HIPS) Safeguarding Children Partnerships.
The Strategy has been produced to support a co-ordinated approach to preventing child sexual abuse (CSA), and improve the identification, protection, and support for victims, survivors and their families. It has been created to improve the ways in which children’s needs and risks are understood, recognised and responded to.
The Child Sexual Abuse Strategy and Toolkit Launch will be held via three Teams Live webinars, hosted throughout the day on Tuesday 28 March.
Attendance from partner agencies who work with children and families across the Hampshire and Isle of Wight areas is actively encouraged. Learning will be relevant for professionals from operational to senior management roles.
