Attend the Serious Violence Toolkit Launch

Date: Friday, 12th Jan 2024 | Category: Events, Toolkits

The Government’s Serious Violence Duty aims to combat serious violence and create safer communities by ensuring all statutory and non-statutory partners work together to prevent and reduce serious violence. Find out what this means to you and your organisation by attending the launch of the Serious Violence Toolkit on Tuesday, 19 March 2024.

Developed by the Violence Reduction Partnership, this new toolkit aims to support practitioners working with individuals and families who have been impacted by serious violence in the Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton areas.  The toolkit offers a coordinated approach to address and prevent serious violence, while also providing helpful insights into its root causes.

To ensure widespread access to this important resource, three identical Teams Live webinars will be hosted throughout the day and evening of the launch. All relevant professionals from partner agencies across the Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton Safeguarding Children Partnerships and Adult Boards are invited to attend.

Attendance to the event is free. To secure your place at the launch and explore all the valuable resources available, please refer to the attached flyer or book direct.
