HDAP is a group of local services and agencies working together to provide help and support for:

Aurora New Dawn

Aurora New Dawn provides support for domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking.

Women’s Aid

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. The Survivor’s Handbook provides practical support and information for women experiencing domestic abuse, with simple guidance on every aspect of seeking support.

Rape Crisis

Rape Crisis Centres provide frontline specialist, independent and confidential services for women and girls who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or sexual assault.

The Rape Crisis website also provides information for partners, family, friends and other people who are supporting a survivor of sexual violence.

Men’s Advice Line

The Men’s Advice Line provides information and support for male victims of domestic abuse.

The Information Hub was created to help find contacts to your local male victim’s domestic abuse service, access refuges / safe houses for male victims, and find a range of services offering specialised support for other areas of need including housing and homelessness, immigration, mental health and wider.

Respect

Respect is the UK charity stopping perpetrators of domestic abuse. Respect work with perpetrators of domestic abuse and young people who cause harm.  They also deliver expert support to male victims of domestic abuse.

The Respect Phoneline is a confidential helpline, email and webchat service for domestic abuse perpetrators and those supporting them. They support men and women who are using abuse, in same-sex or heterosexual relationships.
