The Whole Family Strengths-Based Approach: Working Together to Achieve Better Outcomes

We are pleased to confirm that bookings can now be made for the above Hampshire Safeguarding Children Partnership & Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Partnership Joint Annual Conference. This conference will enable delegates to:
- Understand the rationale for promoting a strengths-based approach and explain how this will impact on and inform multi-agency working.
- Provide an overview of the Joint Family Approach Protocol and explain how it applies to your role.
- Understand the implications of the Mental Capacity Act when applied to adults who care for children and for children in the 16+ age group.
- Introduce trauma-informed practice and how it will inform the multi-agency partnership response.
- Explain the remit and differences of Early Help and Family Support including how and why a strengths-based approach is effective in this area.
- Provide an overview of Fabricated and Induced Illness (FII) including how multi-agency partner agencies can work together on these issues.

In the case of non-attendance or cancellation within 48 hours of an event a fee of £120 will be incurred. This fee will be waived if a substitute delegate is sent instead but you must let us know if this happens. All cancellations or changes must be sent in writing to cs.nominations@hants.gov.uk
